Customer:
The customer agrees to comply with these terms when purchasing products and services through Uusi Sieravuori's online services.


Booking Terms

These terms apply to rented and reserved products and services, collectively referred to as "the property."

Booking

  • The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the description and instructions of the booked property and related conditions.

  • The booking becomes binding once the order/payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The customer must pay for the booking using their selected payment method, following the relevant terms.

  • The booking system will send the order/payment confirmation to the provided email address.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy is not responsible for failed bookings. The customer must contact Uusi Sieravuori Oypromptly to resolve the issue.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy does not guarantee that the property is still available in such cases.

  • If the property is unavailable, the payment will be refunded, or an alternative property will be offered if possible.

Cancellations and Changes

  • The cancellation date is the date on which Uusi Sieravuori Oy receives the cancellation request.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation request is sent in time.

  • If the customer cancels their booking:

    • 30 days or more before the booking start date: a service fee of €20 (including VAT 24%) is charged.

    • Less than 30 days but at least 7 days before the booking start date: 50% of the rental price is charged.

    • Less than 7 days before the booking start date: the full rental price is charged.

    • For bookings made with a discount code, the full rental price is always charged, regardless of cancellation date.

Owner’s Right to Cancel the Booking

  • In case of force majeure, Uusi Sieravuori Oy has the right to terminate the rental agreement. The customer will be informed immediately.

  • The customer is entitled to a full refund of the paid rent.

  • Any costs incurred by the customer due to a force majeure cancellation will not be compensated.


Keys

  • The payment confirmation includes instructions regarding key collection.

  • The customer must return the keys as instructed. By default, the key must be returned to the same key box from which it was collected.

  • If the key is lost or not returned, the owner has the right to charge all costs related to rekeying or lock replacement, with a minimum fee of €100.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy may charge a minimum fee of €20 if it has to unlock the property due to a lost or misplaced key.


Property Usage

  • The property is defined in the property description.

  • The customer has the right to use the property, its equipment, and separately specified services during the rental period.

  • If the customer notices any defects or issues, they must immediately notify the booking management.

  • The customer is responsible for keeping the property clean and disposing of waste during and after the rental period.

  • The customer is responsible for the final cleaning at the end of the rental period.

  • If the customer fails to clean the property, Uusi Sieravuori Oy will charge a minimum fee of €100 for cleaning.

  • The property is available to the customer for the duration specified in the property description.

Pets

  • The customer is fully responsible and liable for any damage caused by their pets.

  • The allowance of pets in accommodations is always explicitly stated.

  • The pet owner must follow any additional provided instructions.

Rental Equipment Terms

  • The customer must familiarize themselves with the safety and usage instructions for the rented equipment.

  • Equipment must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose.

  • The renter agrees to conduct a safety inspection during the rental period.

  • Rental equipment must not be taken abroad or subleased.

  • The customer must return the equipment immediately at the end of the rental period in the same condition as it was provided.

  • The customer is liable for damages caused by negligence, improper handling, or insufficient maintenance.

  • The customer is responsible for replacing lost or destroyed equipment at its full replacement value.

  • The customer must report any defects in the equipment immediately to the rental provider.

  • The rental provider is responsible for normal wear and tear repairs but is not liable for any indirect or direct costs or damages resulting from equipment use or failure.


Liability for Damages

  • The customer is liable for damages caused to Uusi Sieravuori Oy's property. They are also responsible for any damage caused by other guests at the property.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy is not liable for inconveniences caused by natural conditions (e.g., insects, animals, road conditions, weather changes).


Complaints

  • Complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.

  • If no satisfactory resolution is found, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one month after the rental period ends.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy aims to resolve complaints within one month.

  • If no agreement is reached, the customer can refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.


Delivery Terms

Formation of Agreement

  • A binding sales contract is formed when an order is confirmed (order confirmation/payment confirmation).

  • The confirmation is sent to the customer's email.

Order Cancellation and Returns

  • Consumers have a 14-day return policy under consumer protection laws.

  • The return is valid only if the product is in its original condition.

  • The product packaging must also be in sellable condition.

  • Contact sales for detailed return instructions.

  • The return policy does not apply to personalized products, accommodation services, restaurant services, or other leisure services scheduled for a specific time.

Payment Terms

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy uses reliable and secure payment providers.

  • Uusi Sieravuori Oy does not store bank or credit card details.

  • The customer agrees to follow the terms of the selected payment method.

  • Payments via invoice are only available for businesses and organizations.
